The Coronado is a famous manufacturer of optical filters and instruments for solar observation. The
PST Personal Solar Telescope, is a small / low-cost large telescope for observing the sun in the band Hydrogen - alpha. The PST is therefore h-alpha solar telescope with a bandwidth of less than 1 Angstrom for observations of the Sun, proposed at the lowest cost category.
The lens has a focal length of 400mm with a clear opening of 40 mm. Operating Wavelength 656.3 nm (H-alpha). The mechanism of optical

I've tested the PST only in winter days, for now, but I must say that I was just amazed ease of focus and the images that gives in an instant.

I gazed at the sun with different eyes, even with a 20mm eyepiece it was possible to distinguish the surface roughness, by rotating the filter to change the bandwidth, I immediately saw several bumps. By increasing the magnification of the protrusions are made clear as well as the roughness of the surface.
